BRITISH ’PLANES
AIRWORTHINESS STANDARDS LONDON, Fob. 17. After a month’s discussion the conference of Imperial air representatives has evolved an Imperial standard of airworthiness. Details are being forwarded to the Dominions for ratification. Replacing the present British standard, the new standard retains the safety factors as more adaptable to the Dominions’ needs and should be helpful to British instructors, enabling them to equip machines for overseas without contravening the standards.
