FLYING AT MARTON
AERO CLUB FORMED AN ENTHUSIASTIC MEETING Flying enthusiasts met at Marton last evening when it was decided that a Marton Aero Club should be formed. There was a large attendance, presided over by tho Mayor, Mr. F. Purnell. The incorporation of the club is to be sought, following which a further meeting will be held when detailed arrangements will be made. A committee consisting of Messrs. K. Fowler, C. Rofe, H. Nuttall, F. Holder and A. Way was appointed to negotiate in connection with the corporation. , A deputation consisting of Messrs. F. Purnell, K. Fowler, C. Rofe and A. Way was appointed as a committee to wait on the Manawatu Flying Club.
