AUSTRALIAN TITLES CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS Received Feb. 14, 5.5 p.m. ADELAIDE, Feb. 14. In the Australian tennis championships, the finals resulted:— Men’s Singles. Crawford (New South Wales) retained his title after n gruelling battle with Hopman (Victoria), 4—6, 6—3, 3—6, 6 —3, 6—l. Junior Singles. McGrath (New South Wales) beat Quist (South Australia), 6—4, 6—2. Women’s Singles.—Mrs Buttsworth (New South Waales) beat Miss Le Mesurier (South Australia), 9 —7. 6—4. Finals Mixed Doubles.—Crawford and Mrs Crawford beat Satch and Mrs O’Hara Wdod, B—6, 6—3. Women’s Doubles.—Mesdames Crawford and Buttsworth (New South Wales) beat Misses Le Mesurier and Weston (South Australia), 6—2, 6—2. Me/i’s Doubles.—Crawford and Moon heat Patterson and Hopman. 4—6. 6 —4, 12—10, 6—3.
