THE REGINA EXHIBITION TORONTO, Nov. 24. The National Committee of tho World’s Grain Exhibition has decided that the exhibition bo held at Regina from July 24 to August 5, 1933. N.S.W. WHEAT CROP THE OFFICIAL ESTIMATE SYDNEY, Nov. 25. The official estimate of the New South Wales wheat yield this year is 51,000,000 bushels, averaging 14.5 bushels per acre compared with 65,000, 000 bushels, averaging 12.8 bushels per aero for the previous harvest. UNITED STATES’ WHEAT FARM BOARD’S OPERATIONS WASHINGTON, Nov. 24. The spectacular and costly operations of tho Federal Farm Board are revealed in tho annual report before tho Senate Agricultural Committee of its 500,000,000 dollar revolving fund The following expenditures were made. The boar<’ purchased 329,641,000 bushels of wheat for £270,204,000 dollars, and '89,656 bushels remained unsold on November 1. The board paid an average price of 81.97 cents per bushel, as against tho present cash price of approximately 55 cents. The board purchased 1,319,000 bales oi cotton at a cost of £107,533,000 dollars and still holds approximately the entire quantity. Tho board paid an average price of 16.3 cents per lb, whereas the present prices is slightly over 6 cents. Tho board loaned out for wheat stabilisation 160,148,000 dollars ami for cotton stabilisation 74,953,000 dollars. No estimates are given as to the board’s probable total loss. ■.
