NEW ZEALAND’S IMPORTANCE It is not generally realised that the countries in the Southern Hemisphere import softwood timber, pulp and paper from Canada, Sweden and countries in the Northern Hemisphere to the value of over £30,000,000 per annum. Those supplies however, are rapidly dwindling and with a consequently increasing de niand the plantations owned by tho Bondholdrs of N.Z. Perpetual Forests Ltd., will naturally increase in value, and should prove a considerable source of revenue both to Bondholders and to the Dominion, in th© very near future.*
