DISSOLUTION ASKED
NEW GUARD’S PETITION Beceived Nov. 23, 11 p.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 23. The Governor, Sir Philip Game, day received a petition from the New Guard asking him to dissolve the Legislative Assembly on the grounds that th© people of New Smith Wales were very apprehensive because of tho continued disloyal acts and utterances, and because the Premier and his Ministers no longer retained the confidence of the people. Tho Governor agreed to give his answer to-morrow. OATH ADMINISTERED GBAVE TBOUBLE EXPECTED Received Nov. 23, 10.55 p.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 23. The Governor to-day administered tho oath to the 25 new members of the Legislative Council. The newspapers continue to attack the Lang administration in the bitterest fashion and predict grave economic and industrial consequences as a result of the Governor’s change of front.
