LARGEST SUSPENSION SPAN Received Oct. 25, 6.5 p.m. NEW YORK, Oct. 25. The George Washington Bridge, said to be the largest suspension span In the world, being 4760 feet between the anchorages, was opened to-day across the Hudson River between New Jersey and New Yofk City. The bridge took 30 months to build, 4000 men were employed, and the cost, 60,000,000 dollars, will be recovered from tolls.
