FIRE AT SERVICE STATION
BRIGADE’S GOOD SAVE [Per Presi Association.] INVERCARGILL, Oct. 12. While Air Francis Donovan, an assistant, was heating water on a gas ring in the service station of the Central Garage, tho petrol fumes caught fire and the office was speedily in flames. The promptness of the brigade resulted in a good save, the damage not exceeding £3OO. Mr Donovan is in hospital suffering from superficial burns.
