WAVERLEY AND SEAFIELD I SATURDAY’S RESULTS Saturday was ideal for golf at the Seaficld Jinks, and the greens and fairways were in perfect order when the inter-club match between Waverley and Seaficld was played. FOR THE NATHAN CUP CASTLECLIFF AND PATEA ■' CHALLENGERS HELD TO DRAW The Patca challengers for the Nathan Cup played the holders, Castlecliff, on Saturday, and put up the best showing of any challenging team this season, though their team was a small one of six players instead of the usual dozen. At the conclusion the aggregate disclosed that each had won two games and two games were halved. Thus the trophy remains at Castlecliff. Following are the results, the Patea players being mentioned first:— L. Torrens halved with J. H. Dean. B. Sheild won from J. Braid. Rev. Hegarty halved with K. H. Hounsell. B. Currie lost to AV. B.
