THE FEILDINC. SALE At the Fcilding sale on Friday last, Associated Live Stock Auctioneers, Ltd., report having large entries of fat sheep, fat cattle and dairy cattle and moderate yardings of store sheep and store cattle. Eat cattle generally showed a rise in values, steer beef to the extent of lus per head and cows and heifers to 20s a head. Fat wethers and fat ewes showed a decline of from Is to Is 6d per head. Fat hoggets maintained late rates. For store sheep and store cattle tncie was an improved demand and practically a total clearance effected. While the quality of the dairy cattle was not equal to that of alst week prices were a shade better and a very satisfactory clearance was made. Store Sheep.—Small wether hoggets 6s 9d, 6s lOd, 7s 7d; wether hoggets 8s 4d, 8s lOd; 2-th small wethers, shorn, 7s 4d; 2-th shorn hoggets 9s; ewe hoggets, small, 8s Bd, 9s, 10s 8d; ewe hog gets 13s 9d, 14s lid, the former price being for a line of 127; doubtful aged ewes with lambs, 10s, 10s 6d; 5-yr owes with well over 100 per cent, lambs docked 16s; 2 and 4-th ewes with 100 per cent, lambs docked 16s 7d; fat and forward wethers 13s 6d; fat and forward ewes 9s.
