Wanganui, a primary schoolboys match will b< played between two selected teams. The following boys are requested to report to Mr G. Fairclough on Victoria Park on Thursday, August 27, at 2 o’clock: A Team (Blue and Black). Goal: Quirk (Wanganui East). Full-backs: Waters (Durie Hill), Rolander (Gonville). Half-backs: Quirk (Avenue), Walker (Wanganui East), McDougall (Queen’s Park). Forwards: Beale (Avenue), Williams (Tawhero), Orr (Marists), Heath (Aramoho), Smith (Marists). £ Team (Red and Black). Goal: Healey (Tawhero). Full-backs: Thompson (Avenue), Powell (Gonville). Half-backs: Goldring (Tawhero), Gowan (Gonville), Nixon (Marists). Forwards: Bates (Avenue), Thomas! (Queen’s Park), Cush ford (Aramoho), Mannell (Durie Hill), Fairbrother (Gonville). Emergencies: Forwards, Bonner (Gon ville); halves, Davey (Wanganui East), Guilford (Ihirie Hill). The secondary and primary school- ; boy representatives travelling to Auckr land will leave the Wanganui station at 12 minutes past 4 to-day. Fellow players and supporters are invited t< give them a rousing send-off.
