JAPANESE EMPEROR’S GIFT. Received August 23. 5.5 p.m. TOKIO, Aug. 22. As a mark of sympathy the Emperor is donating from his privy purse 100,000 yen to the Chinese sufferers by the Hankow floods and 10,000 yen to Japanese sufferers.
