WANGANUI CLUE HANDICAP RACE HELD CORRY TAKES FIRST PLACE Good conditions were experienced by the Wanganui Harrier Club on Saturday afternoon, when they held a handicap race over the Bramwell course. Tho weather was ideal, while the country had lost that bogriness it had two weeks ago, with th*- result that tht men wearing rubber shoes had a distinct advantage. Vincent, also off the limit, quite easily, while Peinberthy, ran third. These three men put up the best performances of the slower runners of the club and ran well. G. Moore put up his best performance to date this season and ran into fourth place. B. Cave, who has commenced running again, was not far behind. One of the best performances of the afternoon was that of A. Bourgeois, who out-distanced the other mon off the same mark and ran hon e with a strong finish.
