BURGLARS TAKE GOODS
SET PREMISES ON FIRE. [ Per Press Association. ] CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 20. Burglars last night, for the second time in a fortnight, entered the premises of Guthrie, Bowron and Co., Worcester Street, and stole goods worth £lOO. Highly inflammable goods were spilt on the floor and set on fire, but a passer-by noticed the flames and notified the police. The damage was small. A previous similar attempt was made.
