HARRIERS

WANGANUI PACK RACE AT NEW PLYMOUTH. HOME RUN AT ARAMOHO. Two teams of harriers from the Wan ganui Harrier Club will visit New Plymouth to-day for the purpose of contesting the West Coast Cross Country Championships with the New Plymouth Club. Among those to represent the local club will be H. Newton. A. Bourgeois J. Northover, S. Minnell, R. Cave, H. Arnold and several others of the leading harriers of this centre. Unfortunately the two Johnstons and Weller will be unable to make the trip, but it is expected that the members who will be running will worthily uphold the interests of their clubmates. The members already named will constitute the A team for Wanganui, while Vincent. Foster, Cathro, Corry, Anderson an 1 Wisnewski will compose the B team. New Plymouth will enter four teams. For those runners who remain at home a run will be held from the Aramoho Boat Shed. After the recent strenuous races, which have been occupying the attention and exertions of the runners during the past month, the run will be comparatively short. Members will be formed into packs and a run-in will be held over the last mile. The first pack will be sent away at 2JJO p.m.
