Iho presidency of the Wanganui Metropolitan Rugby Union, rendered vacant by the death of Mr ( . H. Warden, is not to be filled until the annual meeting of delegates next year. This deMision was arrived at by the management committee last night.
Rugby Caps. A firm of whisky distillers has offered to present caps to the players in the winning senior, Metropolitan Rugby team in Wanganui, as from next year. These are to be done in the colours of the particular club that wins and arc to bo known as the “Black and White Rugby caps.” It will be something unique if, for instance Marist win the cup and beautifully done green caps are handed down to future generations with a title of black and white. People of this age will surely be termed colour blind. The management committee of the Union has gratefully accepted the offer.
