AWARDS AT INVERCARGILL AUCKLAND CLUB THE WINNER [ Per Press Association. | INVERCARGILL, Aug. 10. The annual New Zealand inter-club photograph competition, conducted this year by the Invercargill Camera Club, has attracted entries from seven clubs, and under the altered conditions a renewal of interest has resulted in a fine array of photographs. The pictures are judged individually, but the competition is for dues, and special marks are added for dub collections. This year special awards were made in addition to the dub marking. The aggregates gave the Auckland dub victory by a small margin over Invercargill, with the dub at Hamilton a close third and Dunedin nextThe marks were: Auckland 996, Invercargill 983, Hamilton 969, Dunedin 954, Wellington 999, Christchurch 749, Palmerston North 677. Special individual awards were: Best, still life, decoration or general, ami champion picture: D. F. Lyons (Auckland), 96. Best seascape or marine: Dr Tizard (Dunedin), 91. Best portrait or figure study: Mrs ■Muller (Hamilton), 95. Best landscape: F. R. S. Petrie (Ins’orc argil I). sp.
