General Situation.—A moderate depression has been crossing the Dominion and is being followed by an extensive anti-cyclone. Forecast.—Moderate to strong northerly to westerly winds, freshening at times from Cook Strait southward, backing to southerly soon in the south and southerlies becoming fairly general within the next 24 hours.
