HUNTERVILLE

OLD TIME DANCE, The Scots Society and Pipe Band held a most enjoyable old-time dance in the Scots Hall on Friday night, when despite the very wet weather there was a large attendance. The music was supplied by Hartley’s Orchestra, while extras were played by Airs Quinlan and Mr M. Ross. An excellent supper was provided by the ladies. UNEMPLOYMENT COMMITTEE At a meeting of the unemployment committee on Friday advice was received of a. reduction in the allotment for two weeks and the names were gone through and those best able to stand it stoo 1 down for the time being while others had their relief work reduced by a dav.
