[British Official Wireless.] RUGBY, July 30. j In the course of her reply for the i Government in the debate on health in- • surance in the House of Commons, Miss I Susan Lawrence, Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Health, admitted that making all allowances for special circumstances, such as unemployments, the growth of expenditure in benefits under the health insurance scheme did not seem to be justified by the health of the nation. There ha j been a remarkable number of short illnesses and the increase in benefits paid to young nu n was unexpected. The Minister of Health (Air Greenwood) added that he believed that a ■ tighter administration would lead to a considerable improvement.
