DANCE AT FORDELL

A successful dance was held at Fordell on Thursday evening in aid of the Anglican Church funds. There was a very large attendance. Excellent music was supplied by the River City Syncopators and was much appreciated by the dancers.

The hall had been very prettily decorated with bamboo, lovely palms, and flowering shrubs, by the committee, with the help of the men. The takings were about £l7, and the profits will be be about £l2. The Rev. Tye wishes to thank the committee and all those who helped to make the effort so pleasant and successful.

The committee were: Mesdames Leo Campion. Woolven, J. Beard, Glasgow. A. H. McLean, S. Bell, G. Wells' Misses Glasgow and Wylie. A delicious supper was provided.
