TEST QUALIFICATIONS CONFERENCE DECISIONS. Received Julv 3.1, 10.5 p.iu. LONDON, July 30. ■ The Imperial Cricket Conference has settled the question of a cricketer s qualification to play in Tests. It was decided that, unless the conference debars them, players are always eligibb to play for the country of their birth. Similarly, they are always entitled to play for any country in which they have resided for the four immediately i preceding years provided they have not s played for the country' of their birth in that period. They arc not permitted. i without consent of the Board of Con- : trol, to play for any country if they i have once played against- that country.
