CANNING NEW POTATOES
A method of canning new potatoes has been devised enabling them to re main “new” for a whole year. The British Ministry of Agriculture is so impressed that it is legislating in order that the potatoes may be sold under a national mark. The canning of British vegetables, which are sold under a national mark, has been so successful that thirty-five caneries have risen in a few years, with a capital of £3,000.000.
