In connection with tho figures re cently published as showing tho public securities hold by tho various life in suranoe companies, the local office of tho Australia Mutual Provident Society states that the total hold by its amounts to £43,882,928. Of this Australian Government securities amount to £21,163,882 and tho balance is comprised of lhe securities of public bodies and municipalities in Britain. Australia. New Zealand and other Dominions.
