AUCKLAND MEMORANDUM OTHER WIEWS PROHIBITED AUCKLANID, June 19. As part of a Dominion-wide movement aiming at the formation of a National Government, a number of prominent professional and business mon m Auckland have signed a memorandum which is being sent to the Premier and Mr Coates. Tho memorandum declares that a National Party, inclusive of all political sections, is absolutely essential, and sooner or later will be inevitable- that the possibilities of the formation of such a party should bo explored in a conference between all of the parties, because of the existing national emergency which threatens to becomo more acute. Further, public opinion should be encouraged to defend tho interests of any existing party.
