SIR ALFRED BUTT’S PLANS. Sir Alfred Butt, who has severed his connection with Drury Lane Theatre, London, recently spoke of his future theatrical plans. Chief among these is the erection of a big new theatre in London, which will be used both for stage plays and talk ing films. This theatre will form part, of an ambitious development scheme on the part of a syndicate which has been planning the project, for some time. Sir Alfred was approached by this syndicate last summer.
