This is the first time since the full seeding has been in operation at Wimbledon in the men’s singles that two Englishmen have been among the select eight. In the women’s singles the seeded players are Misses Nuttall and Mudford and Mrs Whittingstall (Britain) Frauleen Aussem and Krahwinke] (Germany), Madaine Mathieu (France). In the women’s international tennis at Eastbourne to-day Britain defeated Franco, winning all six matches. DAVIS CUP PLAY EUROPEAN ZONE FINALISTS COPENHAGEN, June 17.
