ON THE MINIATURE RANGES WELLINGTON WEST COAST REGT. MATCH WITH DUNEDIN U.S.A. A team representing the Wellington West Coast Regiment fired a telegraphic match with tho Returned Soldiers-’ Club at Dunedin last Mon day evening. The local team put up a good score of 527 out of sfio. Results are as follow: Burford 69 Beavan 1 fiB Hutchins 67 (4rant . G 6 Cade 65 Luxford 64 Beavan 64 Doyle 64 Total 527 The Dunedin team scored 531, so they won by 4 points. It is expected to fire a return match later in the season. INTER-EMPIRE MATCH IMPERIAL UNIVERSITIES LONDON, June 16. The Imperial Universities’ rifle match of 1930 with a possible of 1600 resulted: London 1417, Rangoon 1398, Melbourne 1388, Potchefstroom 1377, Syd ney 1367, Cambridge 1340, Auckland 1312, Oxford 1300, and Tasmania 1263.
