THE FORDELL SALE The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd. report on. their Fordell sale held on Thursday as follows; Sheep came forward well in excess of advertised numbers, aud although the sale was of a dragging nature, an almost total clearance was effected at prices in excess of recent local sales. The range of prices was as follow: 2-tooth wethers .12/3 to 13/9; fat Jambs 13/7; ewe lambs 9/3 to 11/1; 2-tooth ewes r.w. S.D. rams 16/-; 2tooth ewes, r.w. Rom. rams 14/-; 5year ewes, r.w. S.D. rams 7/2 to 9/-; 4 and 6-tooth ewes r.w. S.D. rams 10/11; bush wethers 6/7; empty fattening ewes 4/6 to 5/-; fat P,A_. heif ers (light) £4 14s.
