WILKINS' EXPEDITION
NAUTILUS’ PROGRESS LATEST RADIO REPORT. NEW YORK, June 10. The Nautilus parted company with the United States coastguard cutter Pont Chartrain in the Gulf Stream 11000 miles east of Pollock Rip lightship. A radio message stated that the Nau tilus was proceeding at jasy speed, aid cd by the current, toward London. NORTH ATLANTIC MEETING LADY WILKINS CONFIDENT Received June 11, 10.15 p.m. NEW YORK, Juno IL Before sailing by the Mauretania on Wednesday to meet her husband, Lady Wilkins said she was confident that the Mauretania and the submarine Nautilus would meet somewhere in the North Atlantic. She would communicate with him by wireless and sec him through the glasses. She was confident that the expedition tv the North Pole would be successful.
