THOROUGHBRED SALE
PEODICE CHANGES HANDS. '.rhe dispersal sale of thoroughbred stock, the property of the lato Mr F. E. Loomb and Air D. R. Walker, was held at Te Awamutu on Friday, and attracted a large attendance. However, there were not many bidders. The top price of the day was 400 guineas, paid for the well-known mare Prodice. Valmarie realised 140 guineas. The offering comprised seven horses in training, two yearlings, seven brood mares with four foals and the stallion Illumination. 'The total amount realised was .1304 guineas. The sale was conducted by Wright, Stephenson and Company, Limited, Air C. E. Robertson being the auctioneer. Details are as follows: J‘rodice, b m, syrs, by Catmint — Hyades, bought by Air D..K.
