. RAILWAY EXCURSION FARES. ; , KING'S BIRTHDAY. The Railway Department announces in our advertising columns that a general issue of holiday excursion fares has been arranged to enable tho public to attend the various celebrations in connection with the King’s Birthday. The issue of these excursion tickets •covers a period extending from Afay 30 to June 3 inclusive, and all travellers will enjoy the substantial reduction of over 5s in the £. The return journey may be made at any time before June 13. The fact that it is advisabe to reserve seats and sleeping berths before the holiday rush reaches its height is being realised more after every general issue of cheap fares, and the public will be well advised to book their holiday trips well in advance. MISSION TO LEPERS Rev. F. A. Crawshaw, Secretary for the New Zealand Mission to Lepers, who has just returned from a visit to India where he visited 22 leper homes, and travelled 7000 miles in just, under two months, is in Wanganui, and will conduct services and. meetings on behalf of the Mission to Lepers as advertised. Air Crawshaw has with him 20b new lantern slides which ho took while in India. He also has a wonderful story to toll of the great work which is being done in India among the stricken people, together with the hopeful outlook which now exists through the very many cases of vure, since the use of Chalmoogra oil for leprosy.
