BURGLAR AMONG TERRIERS
A man who attempted a slot meter theft in a suburb of Birmingham will make careful inquiries before he tries again. The tenant of a small house found in his cellar one morning evidence of a conflict—part of a boot, portions vf clothing, and bloodstains. Ho is a breeder of bull terriers, and at night the dogs are kept in the cellar. The would-be thief, finding the grating loose, had dropped in in the hope of finding money in the gas meter, but was pounced upon by seven bull terriers.
