SEAMAN’S DEATH

- KNOCKED DOWN BY TRAM [ Per Press Association. 1 WELLINGTON, May 24. Walking across Adelaide Road, at 6.15 yesterday, John Deakin, of 6 Hugh Street, seaman, was knocked down by a tram and received injuries front which he died in the Wellington Hospital at 8.15 a.m. to-day. Deakin was identified by one of his friends, and the police to-day had not been able to find out the address of his re’a l , ves. The accident occurred not far from the 1 ouse at which ho was living.
