Ab Interesting Quilt At the recent convention of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union at Nelson a very fine quilt was exhibited that caused much interest. It is the product of the industry of the “X” branch of the union, and has J 304 names embroidered on it, the centre being kept for the names of officers of the branches. Tho young people collected nearly £59 for the signatures for the quilt, and a member of the convention purchased it for £3O, and donated it to headquarters, where it will be kept as a memento of good work on the part of young members. The progress of the ‘‘Million Shilling Fund” is also reported in tho ‘‘White Ribbon,” the total of shillings collected so far being 34,477.
