WEDDINGS

DYEK—MORSE. A wedding of interest to a wide circle of friends was celebrated in St. Alary’s pro Cathedral, Parnell, Auckland, on Wednesday, Alay 2(1, when Aliss Dorothy Frances Morse, only daughter of Mrs Alorsc and the late Air G. F. Aforse, of Wanganui, was married to Air Horace Dyer, of Auckland, form erly of Cardiff, Wales. The ceremony was performed by Archbishop A. W. Averill, assisted by Canon Fancourt and Padre G. Coats, of Toe H. The bride, who was given away by Air C. F. Bennett, wore a frock of ivory embossed georgette, with a Juliet cap of Honiton lace and tulle veil. Her shower bouquet was of white heather and chrysanthemums. The bridesmaids, Aliss Norene Bennett and Aliss Betty Fannin, of Palmerston North, wore frocks of caress pink satin, with blue felt hat, mittens and shoes. They carried sheafs of flowers to tone. The little flower girl, Elaine Bennett, was in a dainty frock of blue georgette made in Kate Greenaway fashion and carried a posy of pink flowers. The I bridegroom was attended by Air R. I D’Esto as best man and Air A. Oliver was groomsman. The bride’s mother wore a frock of black silk marocain iclievcd with white and a black hat with ospreys. {She carried a bouquet of autumn flowers.
