OBITUARY

MISS HELEN DALL. A great many friends will hear with sincere regret of the death of Miss Helen Dall, sister of Airs John D. Brechin, Pitt Street. After an illness of some years, Miss Dall died peacefully on Friday evening, the funeral taking place yesterday at the old Wanganui Cemetery. The Rev. J. Paterson took the service. Miss Dall, who was a niece of the late Messrs David and Peter Ball, has resided in Wanganui many years, having arrived here from the Homeland in 1883. The memory of her wonderful patience, cheerfulness and fortitude in her long illness will ever be cherished by those who knew her. Deep sympathy will be felt for Airs Brechin in the loss of her sister who was well loved by many friends.
