MILLIONAIRE'S GUESTS

ALL-NIGHT HUNTING PARTY. As the first light of dawn entered the Craven Lodge Club at Atclton Mowbray, lately, men in hunting pink and beautiful women, famous in fox-hunting circles, started the last meal of the all-night “Now York night club” party given by Air James Clarke, the New Jersey millionaire, who was leaving England. All the elements of an American night, club were provided for the party. A champagne oyster bar was there, a Californian dance band, a cabaret, and clowns. The 150 guests, who included the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon, Lady Ravensdale, and the Hon. Diana Fcllowcs, sat on cushions on the floor during the entertainment. Supper was served at midnight, and the daybreak breakfast, of bacon and eggs and sausages was consumed to the accompaniment of “John Peel.”
