Aston carried £2 10s more than Orapai when the totalisator closed down on the Winter Oats. The imported horse was in the lead for the greater portion of the. journey but met one toe good in Orapai. Aston will soon make amends, and ns his last four starts have resulted in two wins and two seconds he must be voted very consistent.
