SERIOUS CONCERN CAUSED THE REBEL FORCES GROWING [By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright] Received May 11, 9.35 p.m. DELHI, May 11 Contrary to the reassuring tone of of earlier messages, week-end reports indicate that tho Burma situation is causing serious concern in official circles. The rebels, despite numerous defeats by the Government forces, show no disposition to lay down their arms, and the trouble is spreading. The police had a fierce encounter at Thayetmyo against a force of 160 rebels, who retired leaving 21 dead. There were no Government casualties.
