35,000 ASTERS
GORGEOUS BLOOMS AT KIWITEA NURSERY For the third year in succession, Mr D. Young, the proprietor of the Kiwi tea nursery, a few miles from Kim bolton, has a magnificent showing of asters in bloom. In addition to being an all-round nurseryman. Mr Young specialises in asters, securing seed from abroad and continually experi menting with his own seed, and the result of his enterprise and abounding energy is that he has established al most, a world-wide reputation for his asters. His best customers for seed are in Australia, but he also sends consignments as far away as India. The aster beds at present are so beautiful as to be beyond description. Lovers of flowers will find all their favourite colours there, from pure white onwards. Magnificent bronzes, purples, mauve, rose, poach blossom, and many other colours and shades are included, and the blooms are of lovely shape and large in size. Mr Young manures the soil well, and gets all the results one could wish for. It would be a pity for any one who loves flowers not to have a look at the aster beds during the next few weeks.
Mr Young issues a cordial invitation to the public to inspect. Admission is free, but a box has been placed in a handy position to receive contributions towards the Feilding District Nurse funds.
