REGISTERED mail packet QUEENSLAND BANK'S LOSS Received March 20, 11.5 p.m. BRISBANE, March 20. A thousand pounds in Treasury notes mysteriously disapperaed from a registered mail bag despatched from Townsville. When the bag reached Cloncurrv the seals apparently were intact, but the packet containing the money was missing. Three years ago the same bank, Queensland National, lost £5OOO in transit to Melbourne.
