magistrate imposes fines. The following cases were dealt with by Mr J. 11. Salmon, 8.M., at a sitting of the Magistrate’s Court at Wanganui yesterday:— Albert 11. Hurley, for driving at night without a tail light, was fined £l, with costs 10s. Geo. A, Jamieson was charged with motoring without a license and with .speeding on No. 1 Line. On the first charge he whs fined £l, with costs, and £2 on the second. tiimi.ar charges were preferred against Charles Lereculey, and the finei were £1 ami £2 respectively, with costs. B. 11. Williams was charged with parking within six feet of a fire plug in the Avenue. A fine of 10s, with costs 10s, was imposed. R. E. Williams was charged with driving a motor cycle without the assigned number plates and without a motor driver’s license. On the first charge he was fined £2, with costs, and on the second £l, with costs. Henry Hewitt, lor driving at Dublii street Bridge intersection at a speeo which might be dangerous to the public, was fined £2, with costs. Walter Stevenson was charged with crossing over a railway line when the crossing was not clear. It was stated by a driver that he cleared the locomotive by about 70 feet. A fine of £2, with costs, was imposed.
