SALES OF THE WEEK Daigety and Co. Lid. report on tin sales of the week as under: There was a heavy yarding of both sheep and cattle, at the Ashhurst sale on Wednesday, 4th. instant. There was a fair yarding of sheep at the Hunterville sale on Thursday, sth. instant, all of which changed hands: Cull wether lambs 2s 3d; small wether lambs 3s 7d; fair wether lambs 6s 6d; cull 2 and 4-th ewes 5s 6d; aged ewes 3s 9d; 5-year ewes 7s 8d; 2-th ewes J3s 3d to 14s.

There was a very large yarding of store sheep and store cattle and a moderate entry of other classes aM their Feilding sale on Friday, 6th. instant. THE RAETIHI SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company. Ltd., report on their fortnightly Baetihi sale of Friday last, as follows: Sheep came forward well up to advertised numbers. 5000 in all, of which our yarding was approximately half. B.uyers were present from all the surrounding districts and competition was ken throughout the sale, practically a total clearance being affected under the hammer, prices being on a par with recent sales. The entry comprised mostly two,, four and six-tooth wethers and seevral lines of w.f. lambs. The following is the range of prices obtained: Two-tooth wethers, 8s 11; four and sixtooth wethers, 7s 9d to 8s 9d; small b.f. two-tooths, 6s 9d; fat wethers, 8s 9d to 9s 3d; four and five-year ewes (low conditioned) 3s 6(1, 4s to 4s 6d; small four-tooth ewes 12s*. m.s. lambs, 5s 9d to 6s 9d; wether lambs, 4s, 4s 6d to 5s 9d; cull lamb« 3s Id. 3s 3d to 3s 6d; aged S.D. rams. 1 gn. to 12 gns.
