JOCKEYS’ STRIKE

ECHO OF MOOREFIELD INCIDENT. Received Dec. 1, 10.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 1. Arising out of the jockeys’ strike at Moorefield on Saturday, an inquiry was iield at the Australian Jockey Club offices to day, when, after receiving an expression of regret from the jockeys concerned, the stipendiary stewards decided to take no action.

It is understood that a petition is being picpared by the jotekeys asking that there should be some limitation on the fields on the suburban courses.
