SLIGHT INCREASE SHOWN. FIGURES FUJI THE CENTRES The lion. S. G. Smith, Minister of Labour and Immigration, was in Wanganui last evening. He departs for Wellington to-day, and will attend the first meeting of the Unemployment Board on Tuesday. He announced to a “Chronicle” reporter that there was an increase in the total number ol unemployed in the Dominion of 336, when the figures for the week ended last Monday were compared with the figures for the former week.
