PROSPECTS FOR PRICES

The Bank of New Zealand has received the following message from its London office:—The general impression is that at the next scries of wool sales greasy Merinos will show a firmer tendency; crossbreds probably 7$ per cent, to 10 per cent, lower. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following advice from their London house: —Wool sales: List close 1 November 17. New Zealand shipments by Limerick, Argyllshire, Remuera Rangitiki, and Middlesex are available.
