The Federal steamer Surrey is scheduled to leave Liverpool on Saturday with cargo for discharge at Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. THE RANGITIKI. I'he New Zealand Shipping Company's mo-tor-liner Rangitiki from London, is to clear Sout hamptin to-day for Auckland and Wellington. She is due at Auckland on December 24. CARGO FROM HALIFAX. The Canadian National steamer Canadian Cruiser is scheduled to leave Halifax on Saturday with cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Napier. HERTFORD SAILS. Loaded to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company, the Federal steamer Hertford was dispatched from Auckland on Wednesday night for London, via the Panama Canal, BORGESTAD AT AUCKLAND. With a full cargo of sulphur, the Norwegian motor-ship Borgestad arrived at Auckland on Tuesday night from Galveston, Texas. She will later proceed to Port Chalmers and New Plymouth to complete discharge. WESTMORELAND AT AUCKLAND. Running under charter to the A. and A. Line, the Federal steamer Westmoreland arrived at Auckland at 7 a.m. on Monday from New York. She is to leave there again tonight for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin to complete discharge, and is due at Wanganui on Saturday afternoon. CANADIAN VICTOR REPORTED. Canadian National Steamships has received cabled advice that the Canadian Victor, en route from Montreal, cleared the Panama Canal on November 13 for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, and Dunedin, She is due at Auckland on December 11, and at Wellington about December 18.

PORT NICHOLSON AT WELLINGTON To continue her homeward loading the C. and D. Line steamer Port Nicholson was due at Wellington yesterday morning from New Plymouth. She is to leave Wellington again on Saturday for Napier, Gisborne, Tokomaru Bay and Auckland to fill up, and is scheduled to clear the northern port finally on December 6 for London, via the Panama Canal. MAHIA LEAVES SYDNEY

The Shaw, Savill Company has received cabled advice that the Mahia left Sydney at 2 p.m. on Tuesday for New Plymouth, where she is due on Saturday to commence her homeward loading. She is to leave there again next Tuesday for Wanganui, Wellington. Napier, and Auckland to complete. She is due at Wellington on November 27, and is scheduled to clear Auckland finally on December 10 for London. Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow, via the Panama Canal. P. & O. SAILINGS.

Johnston & Co. Ltd., agents for the P. & O. Company, advise that commencing with the Maloja, leaving Sydney on January 9. all P. & O. liners will leave Sydney on the Wednesday instead of on the Friday. ULIMAROA AT SYDNEY

Cabled advice has been received that the Huddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa arrived at Sydney at 3.30 p.m. on Tuesday from Auckland. She is to leave there again to-day for Wellington, and is due there next Tuesday morning.

NOTICE TO MARINERS The Marine Department notify that tne illuminant of the Rangitoto beacon light in Auckland Harbour will be changed from acetone gas to electric light from December 15. Anchorage is prohibited within 500 ft. on each side of a power cable lying in a line 21“ deg. from Rangitoto beacon to Takapuna beach.

WAIOTAPU LEAVES LOS ANGELES Cabled advice has been received by the Union Company that the Waiotapu cleared Los Angeles last Saturday with Pacific Coast cargo for discharge at Apia. Auckland. Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney. She is due at Apia on December 3. at Auckland on December 12, and at Wellington on December 17.

THE MAKURA The Union Company’s R.M.S. Makura, from Sydney and Wellington, is due at San Francisco this morning. She is to leave there again on November 26 for Papeete, Rarotonga. Wellington, and Sydney, and is due at Wellington on December 15,
