GIFT EVENING.
On Wedneslav evening Airs J. T. Ward was hostess at a most enjoyable “gift” evening, al her home, Guyton Street, for Aliss Doris Dempsey and Air W. f.hardlow who are to be married shcitly. A very happy evening was spent in dancing, games, and competitions. interspersed with delightful musical items. The guests of honour were the recipients of many gifts.
Among the guests were: —Air and Airs W. H. Ward, Mr and Airs Kenyon, Mr and Airs Atkins. Air and Airs T. Beard, Mr and Airs J. Dempsey. Alcsdames J. T. Ward, Dempsey, N. Turner, Alisses D. Dempsey, AL Richards, McKinnon, Glenn, Bateman, F. Ward, Turner, Messrs C. AT. Ward, Jennens, S. Cousins, H. Mullis, AV. Shardlow, A. Muller and Master Turner.
