HEARD AT GISBORNE.
SERIES OF CONVERSATIONS. [Per Press Association.l GISBORNE, Nov. 18. TV hat is believed to be the first wireless telephone messages between private individuals in London and New Zealand, was heard by a Gisborne
amateur on a short wave set to-night. The conversation commenced shortly after 8 o’clock, Nir Forbes speaking to Mr Ransom. The Prime Minister was later followed by members of the New Zealand delegation to London, talking to families and relatives in New Zealand.
The reception was very loud and very distinct. The wave length was about 28 metres.
